Bicheno Penguin Tours – Winter Offer Terms & Conditions
1. Environment & Wildlife Care
Tours operate in the natural habitat of Little Blue Penguins. The walk covers approx. 500m over one hour and is not suitable for wheelchairs, walking frames or prams. All guests travel by shuttle bus and must wear seatbelts; infants must sit on a parent/carer’s lap. Flash photography is strictly prohibited.
2. Tour Duration & Check-In
Tours run for about one hour, depending on penguin arrival. Check in at least 10 minutes before departure. Late arrivals may not join and no refunds apply.
3. What to Wear
Enclosed, comfortable shoes without prominent heels are required. As the tour is fully outdoors, warm clothing is recommended, along with a weatherproof jacket in cooler months. Tours proceed in most weather, including rain.
4. Weather Conditions
Tours operate in all weather except extreme conditions such as severe winds. Tours may be postponed or cancelled for safety. If cancelled by us, guests may choose an alternative date or a refund.
5. Booking & Cancellation Policy
Bookings are for a set date and time. Changes may be possible subject to availability. Cancellations 72+ hours before departure receive a full refund. No refunds for change of mind or incorrect date/time selection. Guests must ensure all booking details are correct.
6. Combined Winter Offer – Penguins & Bicheno Beams
This offer is only available for the first tour each night and runs from 27 June to 18 July. Shuttle transfers to Bicheno Beams are included. Guests must arrange their own transport home after the light show. Parking is available at the Bicheno Penguin Tours carpark, approx. 500m from Bicheno Beams. Attendance depends on operational and weather conditions. If Bicheno Beams is cancelled, the Penguin Tour will proceed and no refunds apply.
7. General Conditions
Children must be supervised at all times. Guests must follow staff instructions for safety and wildlife protection. Any behaviour that threatens wildlife or disrupts the tour may result in removal without refund.
